Install on Your Store

Add the Revere review widget to your ecommerce store so customers can read and submit product reviews.

How Installation Works

The Revere widget is a JavaScript snippet that you embed in your product page template. Once installed, it dynamically loads the review display and submission form for each product.

The widget connects to your Revere account using your unique Site ID, which you'll find in your account settings. No server-side code is required — it all runs in the browser.

Before You Start

Before installing the widget, make sure you have:

  • A Revere account — create one here if you haven't already.
  • Your platform integration connected — see the Integrations guide for Shopify, BigCommerce, or other platforms.
  • Your Site ID, available in your Revere account under Settings → General.
  • Edit access to your store's theme or HTML templates.

What Gets Installed

A standard Revere installation adds two elements to your product pages:

Review Display Widget

Shows the average star rating, total review count, and the full list of published reviews. Typically placed below the product description.

Star Rating Summary (optional)

A compact star rating badge showing the average rating and count. Often placed near the product title or price. Clicking it scrolls the page down to the full review widget.
